Our friendly and dedicated team of over 1200 employees are based nationally across school kitchens from the Scottish borders all the way to the South Coast and within our head offices in Yorkshire, Cheshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
In 1999, after a decade of working in both public and private sector schools catering, Dan Curtis, Chairman, set out with his father, brother and three sons to produce restaurant quality meals within the school kitchen and thus began Dolce, a three generation family firm with a passion for providing good health food with the best customer care.
Our passion is for children and being the best caterer in education. This passion extends from the family owners to the kitchens we operate in and we are all motivated by providing the best service for the pupils and teachers we cater for.
In achieving the highest quality service, we require our staff to be principled and encourage candid honesty, good or bad, from the various stakeholders, as well as maintaining standards workwise and ethically. An honest, motivated and supported workforce will develop a good work ethic and a higher standard of service.
In management or in service, our team are polite. Whether a request is being made or an alternative solution being presented, we operate with politeness and respect for the views of others. Through our polite approach, we achieve better clarity on the task and the views of those involved, as well as providing a high level of customer care.
